What is Creation Cares?

We believe that mankind has a God-given duty to care for God’s creation, and it’s a duty that comes with both authority and responsibility. We need to care for creation because creation displays God’s glory, and because God has instructed us to, so we need to be obedient to that.

Creation Cares is therefore Silklife Church’s scheme to:

• make changes to the way Silklife church is run and operated, so that we’re exercising greater Creation Care

• to model and encourage Creation Care in our church members and their families.

• to champion greater Creation Care to the people of Macclesfield and beyond.

We’re a small but committed team here at Silklife, and we’re excited about seeing how we can all work together to see creation better cared for, here in Macclesfield and beyond!
