Encounter is our extended evening of prayer and praise here at Silklife, taking place each month on the 1st Sunday.
It’s your chance to encounter God in a more informal setting and structure, as we worship together and seek him and allow the Holy Spirit to move amongst us and guide the evening.

We’re delighted to be baptising members of our congregation during our regular morning meeting on Sunday 15th November.
We believe that baptism is an act of obedience to Jesus’ commands, a public declaration of faith in Him, and a symbol of His death and resurrection and of your new life in Him. If you’re part of Silklife, and if you’ve given your life to Jesus and you’ve not yet been baptised but you’re thinking about it, we’d love to talk to you!
Baptisms are a great event of celebration as a church family, and a lovely opportunity to invite others to see what the Christian life is all about, so do feel free to invite friends along!
