2026 Holiday Hunger Scheme

Hundreds of children across Macclesfield are facing hunger
over the school summer holidays, and we want to help.

How the Scheme works

Silklife Foodbank is partnering with primary schools across Macclesfield to identify those families in need of some extra assistance over the summer holiday period. We aim to deliver two family food parcels (one at the start of the holidays, one three weeks later) to as many families in need with primary school aged children as possible during the six weeks from mid July to end of August.

You can bring your donations to the Silklife building on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 9:30am and 11:30am,
or contact us and we can arrange to pick up your donations if they’re too big to deliver!
